Turkey adopted a new Industrial Property Legislation as of June 27, 1995 including Decree-Laws concerning patents, trade and service marks, industrial designs and geographical indications. Under the Turkey Patent Act, computer programs are subject matter excluded from patentable subject.
There are no regulations that deal specifically with the patentability of software.
There is no case law that deals specifically with the patentability of software.
There is no statute for the protection of the layout designs of integrated circuits (mask works)
